The Victoria Chapter of Canadian Parents for French (CPF) is active again! Eighty percent of your membership dues will now come back to the local community to support socio-cultural activities, camps, resources, and programs for our children. Over the next year, our priorities will be to organize a local Concours d’Art Oratoire (French public speaking contest) and improve French book options in school libraries.
As well, you will remember that on a national and provincial level, CPF continues its dedicated advocacy for French-second-language learning opportunities for young Canadians.
If you haven’t renewed your membership this year, please consider doing so now. We want to build a strong and active Victoria Chapter.
You can pay membership dues on-line at http://www.cpf.bc.ca
We welcome your ideas and energy in the Chapter and invite you to the next meeting, Thursday November 28th at 6:30 pm at Vic High School. We would like to find reps for all the schools to be a bridge between CPF and your PAC. If you are interested but can’t make the meeting, please email us at email@example.com.
Please check out our Facebook page Canadian Parents for French Victoria and “like us”. Further updates about meeting and events will be posted there:
We look forward to meeting and working with you.
